Walmart

Don’t waste your time. This has to be one of the most pointless Walmarts I’ve ever set foot in. It’s a massive building — plenty of square footage — and somehow they’ve filled it with nothing but cheap, flimsy decor and bargain-bin clothing racks. No grocery section. No food. None. At a Walmart. The one thing this chain is supposed to be reliable for. It feels like someone took a full-size supercenter footprint and stocked it like a struggling dollar store. Aisles of junk you don’t need, and zero of what you’d actually come to a Walmart for. If you’re driving here expecting groceries, turn around now — you’re better off anywhere else in Bellingham. Genuinely baffling that a space this big is used this poorly. Skip it.

This review is for Lawrence who so kindly helped me a couple weeks ago. I couldn’t find or see the sauce I wanted and he stopped what he was doing to look and after digging around he found it hidden in the back of the shelf. If I hadn’t got his help I would’ve left back to Canada without it when it was all I wanted. He was so sweet and helpful and I hope this review makes it way to him and his managers. You’re amazing Lawrence!!

It’s a good Walmart. They always have what you need when I have come here. Yes sometimes you do have to wait a long time for a worker on the floor to come and open the glass cabinet shelves they have now that lock up certain things. But either then that it’s a good Walmart for Bellingham. Just wish it was a super center that would be great. Sometimes during the late afternoons it’s a hit or miss with the workers here actually taking accountability when asking for help.

I had the best experience here! Came to look for something nice to wear to a sporty casual funeral last minute and I not only found what I needed but also some cute shirts, shorts and clothes for my daughter at a good price! Self-checkout was fast and easy. 10/10 shopping trip for a late night shopping trip (it’s now 11:30 pm).

This Walmart is well managed and clean. While they did not have the vacuum cleaner belt I needed in stock, a wonderful employee helped me look. It took a minute! I didn't even ask her, she just helped.
